Nick Vogel

Nick Vogel writes Whole Christianity, where he works out how faith lands differently depending on how a person is wired. He serves at a Vineyard church across worship, production, and finances, preaches and teaches there on occasion, writes original worship songs, and keeps a sustained study through books of the Bible that feeds most of what he publishes here. The personality material, Enneagram and Myers-Briggs, isn't a system he's selling. It's a way of naming why the same passage reaches two people by different roads, and why "just try harder" keeps failing sincere people who are wired for something else.

124 pieces published.

Holy Friction

The word Hebrews uses for "spur one another on" is the same one Luke uses for the argument that split Paul and Barnabas.

In a Spiritual Dry Season? I'm In and Out of Them Too

The SOAP Bible Study Method: How I've Done My Devotions for 15 Years

MBTI ISTP — The Virtuoso

ISTP Bible Characters: Four People Who Wanted to See It Work

Scripture never assigns anybody four letters, so nobody in it is an ISTP. It does keep telling stories about people who needed evidence, or who fixed the problem while everybody else was still discussing it.
